Clothes Pins and Name Tags

What you need:
Clothes pins
Modge Podge or art glue
Scrapbook paper
Button

First you cut your scrapbook paper to match the size of your clothes pin. Next you glue on the paper and add the button!!! You can add a layer of modge Podge over the top to keep it in good condition!!!

Optional: add a magnet to the back!


Name Tags:
Scrapbook paper
Marker
Scissors
White paper

Cut strips of scrapbook paper and choose your embellishment then glue the white paper and write the names or type them:) easy as that!!!!!

GOODBYE to all MY LITTLE HOOTS......

Today is a very bittersweet day!!!  Today was the last day of school for the Little Hoots!!!  It is also the last day that I will be a Pre-K teacher!  I have taught Pre-K for 9 amazing years and I can truly say that I have loved "almost" every second of it!!  It is where I learned how to teach it where I feel in love with early learning and seeing kids learn socially.  It is where I have made wonderful friends!!!  I am sad to leave, but happy that I can now learn new things and make new memories.  For now I am just going to love on my memories that I have in PREK!!!

 

As for my Little Hoots this year.....they are one special group and they all make up this little family that I have grown to love to very much!!! 

 

Arlo-I love all your stories about Sassy and how you like to talk and never meet a stranger. 

Ava- I love your spunky personality and how you lead people.

Brandon-I love how you love learning and smile when you learn something new.

Bryson- I love your friendly personality and how you will give up what you have to make others feel special.

Carly-I love that you always have on a new piece of jewelry and know every detail about me and have such a sweet spirit!!

Conner- I love that you are so well rounded...you love everyone and treat everyone like they are your best friend.

Davis- I love how you are always smiling and how you giggle and your little nose wrinkles up.

Ella Grace- I love how you are always laughing and enjoy being at school each day and learning.

Emily- I love it when you wear your hair in pigtails and I can see you coming with them bobbing up and down.

Fallan- I love that you are right by my side wherever I am and that you can run our room if I ever needed you to.

Gage- I love that you are inventive and can build things like nobodies business.

Garrett- I love that you are happy about life and don't let things bother you and love playing with everyone.

Izzy- I love that you love yourself and love to sing and keep us constantly entertained.

Katie- I love that you give me hugs every single morning and afternoon.

Major- I love that you play hard and love hard. You would never hurt a feeling.

Mariana- I love that you smile and tilt your head to the side and won't let others get in your way.

Nathan- I love that you talk in a southern twang and have the greatest laugh.

Peyton- I love that you never give up and are so loyal to your friends.

Ryan- I love that you never are unhappy and you have compassion for your friends.

Vanna- I love that you can play with boys just a good as your play with girl and love everyone.

 

As you can see I am letting go of a wonderful group of kiddies....they are my family and I love them each as if they were my own.  I can't wait to see you again and as your grow up here at Roberts.......now it is time for you to spread your wings and fly....FLY LITTLE HOOTS FLY!!!

Field Day Fun!!!

Promotion and Brian and Terri Kinder

 Yesterday was our graduation it was so much fun!!!  I stole these pictures off of fb!!!  I appreciate all of you for allowing me to teach your babies!!!  I know it is bittersweet but maybe I will get to have them in a couple of years in 1st grade. 

 

Today Brian and Terri Kinder came to our school to do a concert!!!  We had them all to ourselves and the kids loved it.  We sing their songs constantly and so seeing them in person sure was fun!!! 

 

Only a few more days left....I know that next week is a lot of our kids last day.  Bring on Summer!!!!

 

Also, I feel it necessary to state that my heart is very heavy today about the events that happened yesterday with the Moore, OK tornados.  I can't even begin to imagine how these people put their lives back together.  I also know that several of the kids have been talking about today and it know that at this age it is good to talk and discuss feelings. 

Class Picnic!!!

I meant to add this picture earlier this week and forgot till just now!!  This was from our Picnic on Wednesday!! We had so much fun!!

 

This week has been very jammed packed with practicing for our promotion on Monday at 9!!  I know the school calendar says 8 but it is at 9!!!

 

This a very special day for your child and they are so excited!!!!

Kindergarten Safari and Little Hoot Reunion!!!!

 This morning your children went to Kindergarten Safari!!!  They got to experience a little taste of Kinder!!!!  From the looks on their faces they had a great time!!!!

 One of the kids favorite things to do while they are playing outside is fixing our hair.....Fallan gave Mrs. Shaide a very interesting do today!!!!

Meanwhile while your kids were in Kindergarten, the current Kinder students went to the First Grade Classrooms and the current 1st graders came outside with the PREK team!!!  So I rounded up all my Little Hoots from my first year at Roberts and we took a reunion pic!!!  I HEART PIC!!!  I can't tell you how much these little kids mean to me......so just because your kids move on doesn't mean they aren't forever a little hoot I will hunt them down!!!!

Mother's Day Tea!!!

Yesterday was so much fun!!!  Thanks to everyone that came to the TEA!!!!  I hope you enjoyed it and loved the gifts!!!  I am working on getting the video posted but so far no luck I am still working on it!!!!
