Flowers and Fun!!!

 I love what they kids come up with while they are in the writing center!!!!  Yesterday Fallan and Conner decided that they would make a card and get everyone to sign it....kind of like how the big kids do with year books!!!  So Cute and they were so proud and what good name practice!!!!!

 

 Today we learned about the parts of a flower and what each part does.....thanks to Mrs. Hardin for letting us borrow her anchor chart!!!  Sharing Teachers are the BEST TEACHERS!!!!

 

We have really been loving this warmer weather....this morning we got our exercise by riding scooters and bikes and wagons.....Garrett looks like he is loving being pulled...but he really is having fun haha!!!!

Measurment Monday!!!

 Friday we made a graph of who liked the salad and who did not!!!  I think for the most part we all enjoyed it!!! 

 

 Today we started our new theme off with a bang.....we are learning about how things grow!!  We learned that we can grow and so we measured to see how tall we were and put it on the growing tree outside of our classroom!!! 

 

 Mrs. Shaide was doing some spring cleaning the other day and found some shaving cream....what do you do with 3 cans of shaving cream?  Make names and letters of course, all while cleaning the tables!!!

 

It is testing week for the older kids and since they are testing all over the building we are somewhat confined to our rooms for certain periods of the day....so we took the chance to go outside early this morning and do some sidewalk chalk to get our energy out!!!!

Yummy, Yummy Salad!!!

Today was the PERFECT day to make a salad!!!  EVERYONE brought their ingredient for the salad and it was just perfect!!!!!!  I will let the pictures speak for themselves but I was so surprised by how much they loved everything.....the pickled okra was a huge hit....your kids loved it!!!!!!

Wonderful Wednesday!

Today these friends were able to tell me their address!!!  GOOD JOB GUYS!!!  Even if they just know the street, city, and state!!!  They were so excited!!!!!

 

We have been reviewing our letters this week as well!!  Several of our hoots know all their letters!!!  I am so proud of their hard work. 

 

We have learned letters A-S so make sure that you child is able to recognize those letters for you in the car on road signs or while you are out eating....it is a really fun game to play!!!!

Learning our Address and Phone Number!!

We are almost finished with our little house that we have been making this week!!  Inside each house is our address and phone number!!  They are working so hard to learn their information!!! 

 

Since we are talking about safety this week we thought it would be a skill to learn!!!

Here comes Peter Cottontail....

We made these super cute Bunny Hats to wear tomorrow!!!!  They got to pick out their ears and nose and draw their eyes.....I love how Katie closed her eyes because she is using the bunny eyes!!!!!

 



 

Carly wanted her pictures made, too!!!!  Love a girl that loves pics!!!

 

These little bunnies were hungry!!!!  We have had such a busy day today!!!!
