Letter B and Rest of the GP-Day Pics and Fenway!

We practiced writing the letter B on the SMARTboard today!  They love using the SB!  Please practice writing the Letter B at home this week!  Straight line down got back to the top, one hump, then one hump!

One of my former hoots from last year, Riley Mitchell, bought me this sweet owl at the book fair!  How cute is that!?!?!?! LOVE HER!

Here are the rest of the GP pics....we had a mom stand in and we had Ms. Shaide stand it too, what a special treat!  We even had an Uncle come later in the day!  We have such a wonderful group! I LOVE IT!!!

Couldn't help but show a little pic of my baby Fenway!  He had surgery yesterday (one I hope makes him less hyper) HA!  Is this cone on his head not just tragic?!?!?!  Poor thing will never get a girlfriend looking like that!  Bless his heart he is recovering at his Gammommy's house!

WE HEART OUR GRANDPARENTS!!!

As you can see Grandparents day was a huge success!  We had such a wonderful time having our Grandparents come to our new school!  We showed them a video and sang them a really cute song!  We showed them how to get on your blog!  We also went to the book fair!  We took them to the playground!  I would say they LOVED it!

Hoot of the Week......EMILY!

Emily is our Hoot of the Week this week!  Emily is 4 years old!  She loves to tap dance!  She also loves to go to Wild River Country!  Her favorite place to eat is McDonalds!  YUMMO!  She has wonderful manners and is a great friend to have in our class!  We just love her to pieces!!!!

A is for Applesauce and Arkansas!

I am obsessed with all the A is for Arkansas shirts!  I had a SOONER fan sneak in there, but thats ok, we except everyone!!!!! HAHA!

Today we made applesauce!  It was so much fun!  I post the post pictures later this afternoon!!!!!!

We have a NEW LITTLE HOOT!!!! and Patterns

Our class is now full!!!!!  Meet Arlo!  He came to our class today and will be the newest member of our Little Hoot family!  We really enjoyed getting to play with him today and we LOVED showing him what to do.......the kids think he is Mr. Popular!!!!

The Birthday Board is finished!  We all took pictures of us holding our birth date for that month!  It was lots of fun!  Now we have a visual reminder for our class birthdays!

Hoot of the Week MAJOR and Meet Sooie Wilson!

Major is our Hoot this week!  Isn't he so handsome?  He is 5 years old and loves Baseball!  He has 2 sisters!  One of his sisters goes to Roberts!  He also loves to eat at Purple Cow!  He has great taste!  He loves to play with his Batman and Edward the Train!  We are very lucky to have Major in our classroom!!

Every Monday before we crown the new hoot for the week we will have the past hoot to come up to the smartboard and we will say words that we learned about them this week!  Here is Carly's word web!!!!

Today we started watching the morning news program!  We will say the pledge and the Roberts creed everyday!  You can practice this at home if you like!!

These to girls are always hanging around each other!  They have become fast friends!  We will be talking about making friends in the coming weeks!

Lastly, meet our new class pet!  His name is SOOIE WILSON!!!!!  We voted and I may have suggested a couple of names I bet you can't guess what sooie and wilson have in common!?!?!
