Such a fun week:)



I am sure most of you have heard about the shenanigans that our leprechaun, Lenny pulled yesterday!  Oh my mercy he left a huge mess, but he left some huge smiles on little faces so I am ok with it!!!!!  Poor Jessica wasn't even cranky yesterday and he left her some cranky cream:)  Don't even get me started on the toilet trouble he is clearly having.  

Run to see the WIZARD OF OZ tonight!!!  It is so good!!  I honestly am so impressed that 4th and 5th graders are so talented!!!  My teacher buddy Mrs. Stacker, her daughter is Dorothy and when she started singing I cried:)  I just love Emily!!!  It is so worth the $1 if you want to come see it tonight!!!

We have been doing some test prep and learning about how to make a graph and read a graph was super fun!!  We asked our friends which animal they liked the best!!!

We also worked in groups and turned 4 random words into a story!!!  How creative!!!

 

Only 2 more days till Spring Break....but such a bummer to be in school till June 11th:)

My New Friend!

Yesterday we read a our story for the week called My New Friend.  In the story a little boy was new to town and needed some new friends and one thing that he did was show his new friends around his new house!  So, we role played in partners and one person was new to our class and one person showed them around the room!  We are learning how to describe things this week and this activity was very helpful!

Playing Catch Up!

 We have still been discussing greater than and less than!!  We used true and false statements to check make a graph for our classroom!!

 

 Can we say artists!!  Check out this group project we did this past week!  Each table was a different planet and they wrote and drew about their planet.....each person had a job and I think they did a wonderful job!!  I still miss poor Pluto not being a planet!

 



 Cause and Effect lady bugs!!!  They are helping spring find its way to Arkansas!!

 

 We just finished writing about a narrative about our favorite specialist!!  I was floored by their writing and at how sweet they were!!!  Kaliya wanted a pic with her favorite!!!!

 

Yesterday we heard from a WONDERFUL author!!  Ted Arnold!  He wrote the Fly Guy books!!  It was so neat to hear him talk!!!
