Hoot Holiday Extravaganza!!!!

We have had a blast this week doing all sorts of Christmas things!  We had our Holiday Party yesterday and today we watched the Polar Express!  Don't you wish you were a kid again and still feel the magic....I think as an adult, I still the magic it's just in a different way!  I think both ways are fun!  I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas!  Enjoy your time with friends and family!

HOOT of the WEEK!!! GABE!

Gabe is our Hoot of the week this week!  He is 5 years old!  He loves to come to school.  He said that his favorite place to eat is Chick-Fil-A but he also like Dumplings!!!  He loves to help everyone button up their coats when we go outside for outdoor play.  He is a very good at buttoning  

Roberts Pre-K Loves Holiday Fun!!!

Today we went to watch the 2nd grade program!  We were so excited because Ezra's sister, Anna and Bo's sister, Ellison were both in the program!  We also got to see Ms. Jefferson's daughter Emily in the program!  This kids loved all the singing and dancing!

Later in the morning we had some Apples and Honey because this is a way some friends celebrate Hanukkah! 

Winter Snow

When we woke up this morning we had a very fun surprise!  There was snow.....I think we are convinced that Jingles the elf must have told Santa that we really liked snow.  We went outside and collected to some snow.  We wanted to see how long it would take to melt.  We had some very interesting guesses on how long we thought it would take!

Also today Frankie the ELF came all the way from the North Pole to visit and have some pictures made!  What a fun we day we have had!

I am so excited that everyone brought an Gingerbread man in!  They turned out so cute....I still have a few more to photograph!  

Hoot of the Week....ALIVEA!!!

Today our hoot this week!  She is 4 years old!  She loves to eat at Chick-fil-a, good taste I would say!  She loves to play with her friends.  She brought this really cool bear today that has her dad singing Happy Birthday!  It was really cute!  She always dresses in HOOT attire when she can and it's precious!  We love Alivea!

Gingerbread and Jingles!!

Jingles decided to slide down the clothes line this morning to watch us throughout our day!  He is a little stinker!

Several Gingerbread people have started making their way into the building!  I still haven't taken a picture of the ones that are already hanging but I will do that and show those in another blog they are really cute.  Here are a few that we got in today!

We also voted on our favorite Gingerbread story and the Gingerbread girl seemed to be everyone favorite!  I think it is because she outsmarted all those boys and didn't get eaten!  I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Christmas Magic has happened in our room!!!

Today we went looking for Christmas Magic and guess what happened.......

A little Elf came and left us a very important message!

Talk about huge smiles on faces.....everyone was thrilled.  He left us a book explaining to us what his job would be!  He said that the first thing we needed to do was name him.  So of course we had to have a vote......here were some of the the names we got came up with:

Winkie

Christmas

 Elfie

 Frankie

 Sam

 Star

but the winner of the vote was JINGLES!!!!

We LOVE having JINGLES in our room and he loves being here....he said it was like Santa's workshop because we do so many crafts! HA!  We can't wait to see what he does tomorrow!

The Gingerbread Cowboy!!!!

Today we read this book!  It was really good!  The kids enjoyed that it instead of saying "run, run, as fast as you can" it said, " giddy up, giddy up.....

Sadly the Gingerbread Cowboy was eaten at the end of this version of the story!

It's beginning to look a lot like...............

You guessed it....It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!  You may have noticed that our cottage made a transformation to Christmas also!  We are having so much talking about Gingerbread Men!  So far we have read:

After we are done reading all the books we will vote on which one was our favorite!  We have also been comparing the different stories to see if they are the same/different!

Hoot of the week....MONISH!

Monish is our hoot this week!  He is 5 years old!  He loves to come to school and learn!  He has never had to move his light!  GO MONISH!!!!  He plays with everyone and has wonderful manners!  We love having Monish in our class!  He loves leading our line!!!!

Thanksgiving Feast......and GO HOGS GO!!!

We had a FANTASTIC FEAST!  We have so much to be thankful for!  One thing is that we are such a fun Little Hoot family and we have a WONDERFUL school that we learn in each day!  I am thankful for all these wonderful blessings!

Also, GO HOGS GO!!!!  We have a big game on Friday and I hope we WIN WIN WIN!!!!



Gobble till you Wobble!

Today we had lunch in our Turkey hats!  They were all so cute!  Tomorrow is our Thanksgiving Feast and we are so excited.  We will be featured at the Pilgrims!  Can't wait!
