Happy Birthday Sabrina and Samantha!!!

Today we celebrated 2 birthdays!!!  Sabrina and Samantha turned 5 years old today!  Don't they look so cute???  I had these "birthday glasses" and couldn't resist.  I had to go and borrow another pair since we had 2 birthdays in one day!  I hope they had a WONDERFUL birthday!!!!

Owl of the Week.....ANNALISE!!!

Annalise is our owl this week!  Isn't she precious???  She is 4 years old and has one brother who also goes to Roberts Elementary.  She wants to be a cheerleader when she grows up....I have the picture to prove it!

She came to school Friday in this cute little Razorback cheerleader outfit.  Even though we lost I know Annalise and I were cheering! 

Donuts with Dad!!!

To say that today was a great success would be an understatment.  As you can see by the smiling faces in these pictures everyone had a wonderful time.  Every person in our room had someone there and I was so pleased.  

House's that we made today!!!



We are learning about our community and today we made house's with our address on the inside. This will help the kids learn their address. They had so much fun picking out the color and height of their house. They also drew a picture of their family on the inside. They did a wonderful job!!!



Dots and Dd's

We are talking about the letter Dd this week! We make the cutest little Dd's and they used their fingers to make the dots on the Dd's! Oh the joys of finger painting! I don't think we got a dot any clothes so we get a gold star! We will be having Donuts with Dad later this week!! I can't wait! I will have pictures to share!

Owl of the WeeK....WILL and WOOOO PIG SOOIE

Our owl this week is Will! He is so funny and has a great little personality! He is 4 years old and loves to play baseball and play the drums. I think we would tell by his drumsticks that he brought! Will also is in charge of our lunchboxes! He takes them to the dining room and back for our class!

I need to make a confession and what better place to do it that on my class blog...haha! I am obsessed with the RAZORBACKS! I have been a fan since I was born! Glad I got that off my chest....since I am a huge fan every Friday I have the kids vote on the SMART board to see who they think will win the game! We call the HOGS then we vote! I would love to say that everyone votes for the Razorbacks but as you can see this is not the case....which is good, I like to gloat when we do win...I am teasing! I know we have some Gator fans and some Tiger fans in our class, but I won't pass judgement! All I can say is GO PIGS beat BAMA!!!!

I heard it through the GRAPEVINE!!!!

Today we had grapes and grape juice since we are studying the letter Gg. We voted on which grapes we liked the best!!! I can't tell you enough how much I love my job....do you think anyone can go to work and have as much fun as we do????? I hope everyone has a FANTASTIC FRIDAY and a SUPER SATURDAY and SUNDAY!!!

We had a great night last night at Open House. The kids had a blast doing the scavenger hunt! The above are some pics of our family! Some members were not able to come and some had grandparents as well. Hope you enjoy these smiling faces!!!

Owl of the Week...PAIGE!

Our Owl of the Week this week is Paige! Don't you just love that red curly hair. Paige loves to play with her Barbie and balls. She is a great friend to everyone and a big helper. She is four years old and has 1 sister.

O is for Octopus Stew

Today we made OCTOPUS STEW aka hot dogs that have been cut to look like an octopus. We have been studying the letter Oo this week so our SOARING SNACK today was to make and eat these cute little guys. Looks like fun doesn't it????
