Hoot of the Week!!!! OLIVIA BEAN

This week our hoot is Olivia Bean!  She is 4 years old!  She loves to go eat at Chick-fil-a and Purple Cow!  She likes to get milkshakes there!  She has one brother that goes to Roberts!   She likes to play with her stuffed animals!   She is a big helper in our classroom!

Yummy Lunch!

Chelsea put her napkin up at lunch so she wouldn't get her shirt dirty!  LOVE IT!!!

Will was really excited about his lunch today!

Here is an example of a really well balanced lunch!  He has a wrap with a meat and a cheese, has green veggies and baked chips, and then he has a fluid milk!  The cookies are just fine because the other good items that he has!  When packing your child's lunch please make sure that is well balanced.  



Hoot of the Week ..... CHRIS!!!

Chris is our hoot this week!  He is 5 years old!  He loves school and loves to learn new things.  He can recognize all of his letters!  He loves to play with his friends!  We love having Chris is our class!

Firetruck Came!!!!!

Today the Fireman from Station 9 came to our school.  This is the fire station that is close to Shipley's donuts on Shakleford!  They were so wonderful they brought out the firetruck and even lifted the ladder!  They talked to us about fire safety and how to get out of our house if there is ever a fire!  I was really impressed with their presentation!

This is a great time for everyone to check their smoke detectors and change the batteries!  It is also SO IMPORTANT to teach your children your fire plan at your house!  DO IT!!!!  IT SAFES LIVES!!!!

Happy Halloween/Happy Birthday Dr. Roberts!!!

Today has been a very special day!  Not only was it Halloween, it was also Dr. Don Roberts Birthday!  He came to our school and we had a parade for him!  We love Dr. Roberts and anytime he comes to our school it is VERY BIG DEAL!!!  What an honor that we had to celebrate with him!  Here are a couple of pics from today!
